A ceremony to open a refresher training course for teachers who will teach the new Grade-8 curriculum in 2022-2023 Academic year was held at the B.E.H.S in the town of Nattalin in Tharrawaddy District, Bago Region at about 9:00 am on 16 May.
The training course which runs from May 16 to 18 is being attended by 299 teachers from Basic Education Middle Schools in the Township. The training course covers Myanmar, English, mathematics, geography, history, science, Morals, civics and Physical education subjects.
Under the supervision of staff officer of the Township Education officer’s office U Win Htay and officials, the trainees are being taught by 16 senior course instructors from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, according to an official from the township education officer's office.—Wei Yan Phyo(IPRD)
