Putao, 7 January

A refresher training course for auxiliary firefighters, organized by the Fire Services Department was opened at a village hall in Dakushizar Village, Putao Township in Kachin State on 6 January.

On the occasion, an official from the General Administration Department delivered an opening address and a responsible person from the township fire brigade explained the purpose of the course. Also present at the ceremony were departmental staff and residents.

The training course is being attended by 50 attendees and the course runs from 6 to 31 January.—Hsan Nyunt (Putao)
