Mongyawng, 6 September

A ceremony to open a refresher training course for auxiliary firefighters was held at the meeting hall of the Township Fire Services Department in Mongyawng Township, Shan State(East) at about 10:00 am on 5 September.

At the event, chairman of the District Administration Council U Tun Tun Naing delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, chairman of the District Administration Council U Tun Tun Naing and members met with the trainees and presented uniform to them. Next, firefighters demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers when a fire breaks out in the area. 

Chairman of the District Administration Council U Tun Tun Naing and members, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Soe Thet Swe and members, Commander of the Township Fire Services Department Tun Nay Hlaing attended the event. The training course which runs from September 5 to 30 is being attended by 50 auxiliary firefighters.—Sai Aung Zaw Lin
