A refresher training course for auxiliary firefighters was opened at a sport ground in Linzin Village, Salin Township in Magway Region on 4 November.

First, Deputy Township Administrator U Hlwan Moe Aung made an opening speech and an official from the township fire brigade clarified the purpose of the course. Next, the head of the township police force Police Major Khin Maung Kyi presented uniforms to the trainees through a village administrator. A total of 0 trainees are being given training on prevention of natural disasters by using fire extinguishers, and equipment from 4 to 29 November.

The training course is conducted with the aim of ensuring fire safety and carrying out natural disaster protection, search and rescue operations.
