Taninthayi Regional Chief Minister U Myint Maung accompanied by ministers of the regional government and departmental personnel made an inspection on developmental works which are being undertaken in Myeik yesterday.
First, the regional chief minister and his party inspected the erection of LED lamp posts along Kandaw Mingalar Lake in Myitnge ward.
In addition, they also oversaw the construction of three-storey school building in BEMS-1, two-storey school building in BEHS-7 and 6U4S for staff of Myeik University and two-storey dormitory and urged responsible persons to work to meet the deadline and standardization.
Next, the construction of an eye hospital and a surgical ward at 100-Bedded Myeik Sitagu Sakkudana Hospital were also scrutinized by the officials. They then went to construction sites of Taungshe Bridge on Kyaenatine-Nandawya rural road which is 295 ft in length and 18 ft in width being built by Special Bridge Construction Team-9 and Minthan-Maunghlaw Bridge on Minthan-Maunghlaw rurual road which is 2100 ft in length and 24 ft in width being built by Bridge Construction Team-4. Upon completion, the bridges will help to develop socio-economic lives of the local people.
