A ceremony to provide relief items to fire victims was held at the office of General Administration Department in Mawlamyinegyun, Labutta District in Ayeyarwady Region this afternoon.

At the event, Deputy Administrator of GAD U Thet Naing Htway, staff officer of the Township Department of Disaster Management Daw Zar Zar Lin and officials handed over a total of Ks. 208400 including Ks. 200000 for purchasing building materials, Ks. 8400 for purchasing rice and rescue kits with 17 items to four fire victims from a family in Kyitabin village in Mawlamyinegyun Township. 

The fire was believed to have started from overheated solar panel placed on the roof of the house.—Aung Aung(IPRD)
