Mongkoke 21 March 

Officials from Mongkoke Township Administration Council provided relief items to fire victims in Wunlon-1 village in Mongkoke, Mong Hsat District, Shan State (East). In addition, the officials arranged temporary accommodation for 134 family members of fire victims. 

The officials from the Township Administration Council gave canned fish and instant noodles and the District Red Cross Association also provided 24 tarpaulin sheets, 24 buckets capable of storing 10 liters of water and 24 insecticide-treated nets to the fire victims. The leader of militia in the village also provided 13 bags of rice with 24 pyis of rice.  

The fire triggered from an ember left in the house in the village destroyed 24 houses, leaving 26 households homeless at about 4 am on March 20.
