A ceremony to provide relief items to people whose homes were damaged by strong winds was held at Seinkhayin Monastery in Shwemyine Thirit Wards in the town of Mawlamyine, Mon State.

The state Ministers, the district Administrator and officials led by Mon state Chief Minister Dr Aye Zan provided K 22.6 million to victims of strong winds for building materials and rice, and encouraged them.

The region Government will continue to provide cash aid to the remaining victims of strong winds in the wards, it is learnt.—District IPRD
