Staff led by staff officer U Kyaw San from the township Department of Social Welfare and staff from the township Red Cross Society paid a domiciliary visit to provide relief items to people whose homes were damaged by strong winds, and handed over K 100000 for building materials, K 10500 for rice and rescue kit boxes to victims of strong winds in Pawa Village, Tanintharyi Township, Tanintharyi Region yesterday.

 

A powerful wind hit Pawah Village in Tanintharyi Township on 12 May and flipped over the roof of a house, causing a loss of K 450000. But no casualties were reported.—Htein Win, IPRD
