Officials from the township Department of Social Welfare provided relief items to victims of strong winds in Bayani Village, Thabaung Township, Ayeyarwady Region this morning.

Staff officer of the township Department of Disaster Management U Thar Naing Aung and members provided K 212600 for purchasing building materials and rice, and two rescue kit boxes with 16 items to six victims of strong winds from two households in the village.

Powerful winds hit Bayani Village in the township on 18 and 20 September and destroyed tw0 houses.—Myo Zaw Thein, IPRD
