Yesterday, Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and Lt-Gen Thet Pon from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) observed the clearing of debris at the religious sites in Sagaing, and the land area to reconstruct the Maha Zedi Hla Pagoda severely destroyed by the quake, other cleaning activities in the compounds of pagodas and nunneries, and healthcare services provided by the Tatmadaw mobile medical team.
Likewise, Lt-Gen Soe Tint Naing from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and relevant officials inspected the removal of damaged parts of collapsed buildings in Aungmyaythazan and Mahaaungmyay townships in Mandalay. — MNA/KTZH
