A ceremony to pay respect to older people aged above 80 years old was held at the administrator’s office in Pyinmamyaing Ward, Kyunhla Township in Sagaing Region on 26 October.

First, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Tun Win extended greetings and the ward administrator explained the purpose of respect paying ceremony. Those present paid respect to 77 elderly people and presented offertories worth Ks. 22,100 each.

Also present on the occasion were the lawmakers, members of township management committee, departmental officials, residents and well-wishers.
