An event to provide medical treatment and nutritious foods to the retired government employees was held at the Myanma Economic Bank in Wakema Township, Myaungmya District of Ayeyarwady Region at about 10:30 am on December 27.
At the event, Chairman of the District Administration Council U San Htay, member-1 of the Township Administration Council Major Phyo Wei Lin and the Township Deputy Administrator U Myo Zaw Than met pensioners who usually withdraw their pension at the Myanma Economic Bank and gave words of encouragement and provided medical treatment and nutritious food to them.
In Wakema Township, pensioners are issued their pension starting from the 21st of every month. Out of 2785 pensioners, 1605 have come to withdraw till December 27, and the rest will continue to be issued during banking hours.—Hein Htet Lin(IPRD)
