A ceremony to donate rice bags to frontline health workers was held at the meeting hall of People’s Hospital in the town of Pakokku, Magway Region this morning.

At the event, the donor, identified as Sayadaw U Pyinya Zaw Ta clarified the purpose of the donation of rice bags for frontline health workers.

Then, the Sayadaw handed over 40 bags of rice to frontline health workers in Pakokku. In addition, the Sayadaw U Pyinya Zaw Ta also presented 1000 Masks to pensioners coming to draw their pensions in Myanma Economic Bank in Pakokku.

Also present on the occasion were the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Paik Ko, the District Medical Superintendent Dr. Kyaw Naing Win, other Doctors and nurses from the hospital.—District IPRD
