A ceremony to donate offertories to monasteries and nunneries in the township of Singu in Mandalay region was held at the meeting hall of the township General Administration Department yesterday afternoon. 

After opening the ceremony by reciting Namawtassa three times, officials took five precepts from the chairman monk of the township Sangha Body. At the ceremony, Htet Yi Lin groups of companies donated 12 baskets of rice (about 0.84 bushel) and two visses of edible oil each to 230 monasteries and seven nunneries.

Also present at the ceremony were Pyithu Hluttaw MP Dr. Zaw Win Myint, the regional Hluttaw MP Dr. Kyaw Naing Oo, the township Covid-19 prevention, containment and treatment Committee Chairman, township administrator U Myint Zaw and executive director U Aung Myint and general manager U Ba Shwin from Htet Yi Lin groups of companies that donated offertories. –Min Zaw Oo ( IPRD)
