A total of 12 households from villages located near Irrawaddy River in Pantanaw Township, Ayeyarwady Region were relocated to safer places due to riverbank erosion. 

 

14 family members from four households in Nangatyoe Village, 25 family members from six households in Kyaungdawkalay Village and six family members from six families in Nagat Village in the Township are currently taking shelter in the homes of their relatives.

 

Necessary assistance for victims of riverbank erosion are being provided by local authorities.—Pyae Phyo Kyaw (IPRD)
