Toe riverbank measuring 60 ft. in length and six ft. in width was collapsed due to the riverbank erosion in Ganchaung Village in Nyaungdon Township of Maubin District, Ayeyarwaddy Region this afternoon.
Three households in Ganchaung Village in the Township were relocated to safer places due to the danger of the riverbank erosion.
Family members from three households in the village are currently taking refuge in the homes of their relatives. But no casualties were reported in the incident so far. — Township IPRD
