Haka, 14 March
The Ministry of Construction is carrying out road improvements which are vital to development of Chin State with the use of heavy machinery under the guidance of the local government.

“Poor road transportation is one of the reasons that Chin lagged behind other regions and states. In the past, residents experienced difficulties when going one place to another due to poor transportation. Construction materials and personal items including basic commodities were expensive for local people. So the local government designated road transportation as a priority and was undertaking road improvement by using heavy machinery,” said U Nay Lin, Deputy Director of Special Construction Group-10.
