Republic of Korea’s National Assembly Speaker Mr Moon Hee-sang received Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat and delegation at his office at the National Assembly Building in Seoul.

The Myanmar Hluttaw goodwill delegation was welcomed by the ROK’s National Assembly Speaker and representatives at the National Assembly building.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters related to bilateral friendship and cooperation between the two nations, inter-parliamentary cooperation and legislative matters of both parliaments.
Afterwards, the Myanmar Hluttaw goodwill delegation accompanied by ROK officials looked around the Central Hall of the National Assembly.

Around noon, the Myanmar Hluttaw delegation was hosted a luncheon by the ROK’s National Assembly Speaker at the National Assembly.

Pyithu Hluttaw Judicial and Legal Affairs Committee Chairman U Tin Htwe, Pyithu Hluttaw Electricity and Energy Development Committee Chairman U Kyi Moe Naing and Pyithu Hluttaw Ethnic Affairs and Internal Peace Implementation Committee members U Kyin Wan and U Tun Kyaw and Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of Korea U Thant Sin also attended the luncheon.

Afterwards, the Myanmar Hluttaw delegation accompanied by ROK officials visited the ROK’s National Assembly Library, Hyundai Motor Studio and Sejong Culture Centre.

The Myanmar Hluttaw delegation visited the Republic of Korea at the invitation of ROK’s National Assembly Speaker Mr Moon Hee-sang.
