Township Administrator U Kyaw Thu and local authorities looked into completion of a rural bridge in Kyaukkyi Township, Bago Region this morning.

The rural bridge over a creek is of a wooden facility and links Ngalauktet Village with Kyaungpyar Village. The bridge measuring 70 ft. long, 14 ft. wide and 18 ft. high was repaired by spending Ks. 9 million allocated by the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs in the current fiscal year.

The regional development task implementation committee scrutinized and evaluated the estimated cost for maintenance works for roads and bridges in Bago Region.
