The electricity projects for rural development as part of Community Driven Development Project was launched by Rural Development Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation at Waboechaung village, Htilin Township, Gangaw District, Magway Region from yesterday.

The community driven development provides 11 concrete posts with a length of 10-meter, 24 concrete posts with a length of 9-meter and an electric cord with a length of 3,280 feet using a fund of K 19.3 million from the Rural Development Department.

The electricity project was developed by Hein Family Company for 229 people of Waboechaung village. Under the project, altogether 43 villages in Htilin Township were facilitated with electricity in two months. –Sein Kyaw
