Rural developmental works in three villages in Hkamti Township have been completed by 90 percent, according to the Rural Development Department.

The 7920 feet long water pipeline in Linhpa village developed with a VDP fund of K 10 million and a public contribution of K 1.3 million was installed and a multi-purpose hall which is 51 feet long, 17 feet wide and 12 feet high in Heinsun village developed with a VDP fund of K 10 million and a public contribution of K 2 million was constructed. In addition, construction of two-storey education staff housing which is 27 feet long, 18 feet wide and 9 feet high was started in February. Now the projects have been completed by 90 percent.
During their inspection tour, members of VDP from the village clarified the relevant procedures while officials from the Rural Development Department attended to the needs.

Upon completion, a total of 1,016 people from 177 households will be eligible basic facility of a village. This 2018-2019 fiscal year, construction of seven multi halls, two staff housing, two concrete roads, one gravel road and installation of one water pipeline and one power line, totaling 14 developmental works are being undertaken in 14 villages with K 140 million funded by VDP and K 53.38 million contributed by public.
