Nyaung-U 15 September

Under the National Electrification Project (NEP), electrification projects were implemented in three villages in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region in 2019-2020 FY. Now, the villages were provided with electricity starting from 13 September, according to a Township Electrical Manager U Win Lwin. 

In the villages, 11 KV power line installation and construction of 11/0.4 KV transformer were conducted with funds of Mandalay Regional Government. 

In Nyaung-U Township, there are 188 villages and out of which 128 villages including the three villages are available electricity. The electrification projects in Nyaung-U and Ngathayauk Townships are being undertaken with over K 1586 million.
