Ceremonies to inaugurate rural electrification facilities were held in Kyuntaw and Hson Villages in Yinmarbin Township, Sagaing Region on 11 September.

Regional Lawmaker Daw Aung May Yee and officials from the General Administration Department and the Electricity Supply Enterprise formally launched the rural electrification facilities. 

The rural electrification facilities were undertaken by the Department of Rural Development under the regional government funds and the Village Development Plan in the fiscal year 2018-2019.

The power transmission lines were constructed with the financial assistance from the regional government while transformers were installed on self-reliant basis.—Than Htay Aung (Kani)
