An event to launch a rural electrification facility was held in Padegon Village in Magway on December 16.
    

The rural electrification structure was formally inaugurated by Lower House MP U Myint Oo, Upper House MP U Hla Hsan, Regional Lawmaker Daw Khin Cho Latt, officials from the Electricity Supply Enterprise, and a village administrator.
    

The legislators gave speeches and an official from the ESE shared knowledge about the risks of electricity. Next, employees from the ESE distributed pamphlets to the attendees.
    

The project was implemented under the National Electrification Plan (NEP) and the facility is expected to supply power to 168 homes in the village.
