A launching ceremony of a rural electrification facility was held in Nantlin Village, Mongphyat Township in Eastern Shan State this morning.
First, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Lin Zaw Tun, and Township Administrator U Thet Lwin delivered addresses and a local spoke words of thanks. Next, the Lower House lawmaker, a legislator for Shan State parliament, the township administrator and an official from the Electricity Supply Enterprise inaugurated the rural electrification structure by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. Afterwards, the Pyithu Hluttaw MP launched the facility by pressing a button.
The rural electrification structure was built with Ks. 110.980 million in the fiscal year 2018-2019. Nantlin Village comprises 47 houses and electricity boxes are being installed by a private company at a rate of Ks. 200,000 per item.
