Rural electrification facility put into service in Pinlebu Tsp.

A rural electrification facility was launched in Mya Thandar Village, Pinlebu Township in Sagaing Region on 2 October.


The electrification structure was built under the National Electrification Plan (NEP). The abbot of the village’s monastery, Regional MP U Than Hlaing, Chairman of the township management committee U Khaing Lin Naing, an official from the Electricity Supply Enterprise and a village authority inaugurated the facility by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. Residents from the village which consists of 59 houses can now use the electricity round the clock.


Rural electrification tasks are being implemented throughout the township under the NEP and seven villages have been facilitated with the power.
