Electricity has been supplied to households in 591 villages in eight townships in Bago Region in the fiscal year 2019-2020, according to data released by the regional Electricity Supply Enterprise.
    

Rural electrification project was implemented in 1,337 villages in Bago, Kawa, Thanatpin, Waw, DaikU, Nyaunglebin, Shwegyin and Kyaukdaga Townships in Bago Region in the financial year 2019-2020 under the National Electrification Plan (NEP) and some projects were undertaken on self-reliant basis.
    

Arrangements will be made to provide electricity to families in 322 villages in the region by spending the Union Budget in the current fiscal year.
