Hpa-an 4 July

 


With the aim of giving health treatment to rural people, a rural health center was launched in Waegyi village, Hpa-an Township, Kayin State on 3 July.

 


Kayin State Minister for Social Affairs U Bo Bo Wai Maung and Dr. Kyaw Swar Myint from the State Department of Public Health formally opened the health center and sprinkled the scented water on the signboard of the center.

 


The rural health center was constructed by ADB and Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction with USD 57,000. The center will benefit a total of 3,679 people from Waegyi village and nearby villages, providing health care services in time.
