A stake-driving ceremony for construction of a rural healthcare center and a staff apartment was held in Phayahtoo Village, Ngazun Township in Mandalay Region on 1 May.

At the ceremony, Regional Lawmaker Daw The Su Wai, Township Administrator U Zaw Win, the head of the township’s Department of Health Dr. Tun Tun Soe and Village Administrator U Ohn Maung drove the stakes at designated places in the construction site. The rural healthcare center will be 41 ft. in length, 30 ft. in width and 12 ft. in height while the staff housing will be 38 ft. in length, 25 ft. in width and 12 ft. in height.

           

Both facilities will be one-storey structures and will be built by the tender winning company High Sweet Co., Ltd with Ks. 61 million of the Union Budget in the fiscal year 2018-2019.—Thet Naung Oo (Ngazun)
