Kyaukpadaung 26 February
A rural road connecting two villages is being built on a self-reliant basis in Kyaukpadaung Township, Mandalay Region.
The rural road is of earthen type and is 3.5-mile long and 35 ft. wide. The road is under construction with the financial contribution from a benefactor residing in Singapore and Ks. 6 million donated by the Sagawah Myay Foundation. The road is about two miles completed.
Upon completion of the road, residents from nearby villages and some villages in Natmauk Township will be able to use the new road in all seasons with greater ease, thereby improving transportation and smoothing better commodity flow for local people, said U Ye Sein, a village-tract administrator.—Myo Nyunt Shwe
