A rural road that will benefit over 700 acres of farmland is being built in Khatakan village in Wundwin Township, Mandalay Region.
The road and eight slab culverts are being built with K 145.23 million allocated by Union capital starting from July 4. Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction work and urged the responsible people from the company to meet the set standard within the target date.
Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to a total of 3419 people from 662 households in the village.
