Bamauk, December 16
An inter-village is being built on a self-reliant basis in Bamauk Township, Sagaing Region, according to U Zaw Zaw, Managing Director of Golden Zaw Co Ltd.
“Improvements for the earthen road measuring four miles and four furlongs long, 35 ft. wide and 3 ft. high are being carried out,” he said. The road linking Bamauk and Homalin Townships cannot be used in rainy season; he added. The road is being upgrade to an all-season use facility so that locals can transport their products in a convenient manner, said a village-tract administrator.
An upgrade work of the road is being undertaken with the use of heavy machinery on a self-reliant basis.
