With the aim of being swift and smooth flow of commodity in all seasons, Mohnyin Township Department of Rural Development is implementing the construction of rural roads and bridges during 2022-2023 FY. Now, a rural road is being built in Chaungwa village with funds of the State.

Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development and responsible engineers inspected the construction site in the village on October 18. Then, the officials urged the responsible people from the company to meet the set standard within the target date.

A road which is one mile and seven furlong in length, 12 ft in width and 2 ft in volume, a concrete bridge and box culverts are being built with K 175.505 million funded by State budget. Upon completion, it will benefit 1631 people and 6009 acres of their farmland, according to an official from the township DRD.
