Mong Hsat, March 24
A new rural road on the Mesat–Nakaw inter-village route was inaugurated this morning by the Township Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development to commemorate the 81st Armed Forces Day.
At the ceremony, U Nyi Nyi Htwe, Chairman of the District Management and Administration Committee, Lt-Col Thein Zaw from the regional military base, and an official from the District Department of Rural Development delivered opening remarks.
A village representative also expressed his gratitude on behalf of local residents. The event concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by an inspection of the newly opened road.— Maung Khaing
