A ceremony to inaugurate a rural road was held in Htangon Village in Kyangin Township, Ayeyarwady Region on 11 September.

 

During the ceremony, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Thein Tan delivered an opening speech. Then, an official from the Township Department of Rural Development discussed matters relating to village development projects being implemented with cash for work program in the village.

 

Next, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Thein Tan, staff officer of the Township DRD U Yin Min Oo, chairman of the Township Development committee U Kyaw Kyaw cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the road.

 

The rural road measuring 1000 ft. long, 20 ft. wide and nine inches thick was constructed Ks. 10.0 million allotted by DRD, according to an officials from the Township Department of Rural Development.—U Soe Moe Kyaw
