The construction works of two rural roads are being conducted by Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development in Salin Towship, Minbu District in Magway Region.

Under rural development projects, the gravel type road measuring one mile and one furlong long, 10 ft. wide and nine inches high is being constructed with Ks. 16 million in Kankunlay Village in the Township.

In addition, the another gravel type road measuring one mile and two furlongs in length, 12 ft. in width and one foot and nine inches in height plus 6'x3'x18' Reinforced Box Culvert is being built by a private tender winning company with Ks. 51.4 million of DRD’s allotted funds in 2021-2022 FY.

Once completed, it will benefit rural people from three villages, helping them transport rural products from 1300 acres to the markets in a timely manner, according to the Township Department of Rural Development.—Ni Lar Htway(DRD)
