Rural roads and box culverts are being built in Ngaphe Township, Magway Region to help rural people transport their products to the markets in real time.

 

Three rural roads and 13 box culverts are under construction in Thazi, Paukyingon and Paungkalay Villages in the township by spending Ks. 84.1 million allocated by the Department of Rural Development. The department has awarded a tender for construction of the rural roads and box culverts to a private company named “Tun Kabar Lin Co., Ltd”.

 

Aforesaid rural roads and box culverts have been about 95 percent finished and once completed, it would benefit over 1,200 acres of farmland, said an official from the township DRD.—Thurein (Minbu)
