The Township Department of Rural Development will construct rural roads and box culverts with the Union budget in Thetyindaw, Magyicho and Nyothumyaung villages in Natmauk Township, Magway Region in 2022-2023 FY.
With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, the Township DRD will construct a box culvert measuring 80 ft. long, 18 ft. wide and nine inches high in Thetyindaw Village, a gravel road measuring 3960 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and nine inches in thickness and a slab culvert measuring six ft. long, 16 ft. wide and six inches high in Magyicho Village and a gravel road measuring 3300 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and nine inches in thickness in NyothuMyaung Village in the Township with Ks. 61.65 million.
Once completed, it will benefit 4000 acres of farmland in the three villages, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Thin Thin Myat(Township IPRD)
