With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and boosting the socio-economic status of rural people, the rural roads and a rural bridge will be constructed in three villages in Muse Township, Shan State (North), according to the Township Department of Rural Development.

 

A rural road measuring 1.4 miles long and a box culvert will be constructed in Mangkhun Village in the Township and two rural roads will be constructed in Kaungwin and Linlaing villages in the Township with Ks. 137.5 million allotted by regional government in 2021-2022 FY, according to an official from the Township DRD.

 

Once completed, the roads will benefit 542 acers of farmland of 983 rural people from 194 households and helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Soe Moe Kyaw
