A ceremony to launch a rural suspension bridge built by the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation under its Community-driven Project took place in Lay Village, Saw Township in Magway Region on 8 February.
    

The rural suspension bridge was formally opened by Magway Region Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Win Maw Htay, Director of the DRD U Myo Aung, Regional Legislator for No.2 constituency U Kyaw Myint, and Assistant Township Administrator U Aung Naing Moe. Those present then posed for a group photo and strolled along the new bridge.
    

Afterwards, speeches were delivered by the regional minister, director of the DRD and the regional lawmaker and a local expressed word of thanks.—Tin Aung Moe Myint
