A ceremony to hand over rural water supply projects to relevant committees in Nyangdon Township was held at the Township Department of Rural Development yesterday. 

On the occasion, MP U Kyaw San of No.2 Constituency of Regional Hluttaw and an official from Maubin District Department of Rural Development gave opening remarks. An official from the Township Department of Rural Development clarified salient points of water supply system.

Then, the officials responded to queries raised by the attendees and they handed over proper documents relating to the projects to relevant village committees.

With the aim of distributing purified drinking water, the Township DRD constructed wells and water tanks in 17 villages in 11 village-tracts in 2018-2019 FY.
