Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who attended the Sixth BIMSTEC Summit hosted by Thailand held a meeting with Secretary-General of BIMSTEC Mr Indra Mani Pandey at Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok yesterday afternoon.
They exchanged views on the efforts of Myanmar in successfully holding the Fourth BIMSTEC Summit in Nay Pyi Taw, the active participation of Myanmar in BMISTEC, the successful hosting of the Sixth BIMSTEC Summit and the accomplishment in the agriculture and food security sector of BIMSTEC led by Myanmar.
Also present at the meeting were Council Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and senior officials. The BIMSTEC Secretary-General was accompanied by officials.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the BIMSTEC Secretary-General exchanged gifts. — MNA/TTA
