THE Myanmar high-level delegation led by Chair­man of the State Admin­istration Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is currently in the Republic of Belarus, visited the Belmed­preparaty pharmaceutical facto­ry in Minsk yesterday morning.

 

At the factory, the Senior General and the party were welcomed by Minister of Health Mr Aliaksandr Khajayeu of the Republic of Belarus and factory officials.

 

The Senior General viewed round medical treatment sup­porting vehicles showcased in front of the factory and asked what he wanted to know.

 

He visited the booth of phar­maceuticals produced by Bela­rus, and a display of machinery used in medical treatment and discussed topics over clarifica­tions.

 

At the meeting hall of the factory, the Senior General and the party held a meeting with the Belarusian Minister of Health and officials. They exchanged views on the potential for co­operation in the health sector between the two countries, the situation of using medicines and medical equipment produced by Belarus in Myanmar, and a plan to hold detailed discussions be­tween officials of the Belmed­preparaty Pharmaceutical Fac­tory and health officials from Myanmar.

 

The Senior General viewed the production process of the fac­tory and asked what he wanted to know about the topics, with clarifications by officials.

 

Belmedpreparaty Phar­maceutical Factory, located in Minsk, is the largest one, where more than 2,100 employees work in production operations. — MNA/TTA
