MEMBER of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye received a delegation led by Minister for Defence of the Republic of Belarus Lieutenant-General Viktar Gennadievich Khrenin at the Minister’s Office of the Ministry of Defence yesterday morning.

At the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on military relations between the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Republic of Belarus, cooperation in military training and education, potentials for cooperation in bilaterally military technology, exploration of potential sectors for enhance ment of cooperation in defence sector between the two countries and further cooperation.

Officials of the Ministries of Defence between the two countries also discussed logistic measures, and cooperation in military training and education sectors in separate meetings to exchange views in detail. After the meeting, Union Minister General Maung Maung Aye and Belarusian Minister for Defence Lieutenant- General Viktar Gennedievich Khrenin signed the approvals for discussions and exchanged notes of meetings.
