VICE-CHAIRMAN of the State Administration Council Depu­ty Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win, who is now in Qingdao of the People’s Republic of China, visited the Pearl of SCO International Expo Centre and China Transfer (SCO) Interna­tional Logistic Port Project site yesterday.

 

On arrival at the Pearl of SCO International Expo Cen­tre, officials from the centre wel­comed the Vice-Senior General and party. Then, they observed the centre and member of SCO Development Zone Chinese Communist Party Work Com­mittee Ms Fu Zhong Hua, and officials explained the data of the centre, investment under the market-oriented system and culture, business and trade ex­hibition sites of SCO member states.

 

The “SCO landmark”, Pearl of SCO International Expo Cen­tre, was launched on 30 Septem­ber 2022, covering 168,800 square kilometres. It is market-orient­ed in its operation and extends business directions in exhibition, education, business, tourism, and culture.

 

The Vice-Senior General then proceeded to the China Transfer (SCO) International Logistic Port Project, the symbol of SOC’s victory. On arrival at the destination, the relevant official briefed them on the investment of the project, service-prioritized export/import processes, estab­lishment of the comprehensive service centre to create online and offline service platforms and further work plans.

 

The China Transfer (SCO) International Logistic Port Pro­ject possesses a total investment of 10 billion yuan, and it covers 1,343 acres, and the building is 989,000 square metres. It serves seven logistics services: trade information centre, passenger and logistics centre, vehicle re­source centre, warehouse and distribution centre, vehicle ser­vice centre, truck centre and business centre, among others. — MNA/KTZH
