The Myanmar National League club Sagaing United and former Myanmar international Kaung Set Naing mutually agreed to sign the contract with the club, U Zaw Lin Tun, Head Coach of the Monywa-based club said.

Sagaing United is showing an impressive performance this football season and booked a spot in the semifinal of General Aung San Shield for 2019. So officials from the club decided to reinforce Thailand league-2 side Samut Sakhon FC’s ex-player. “He will not be allowed to play the first leg of the General Aung San Shield due to some rules for his transfer. But he will be part of our team in the second leg,” U Zaw Lin Tun added.

Sagaing United stands in the fifth place in the first round of the MNL, becoming the best striking team with 23 goals by the attackers led by Friday. Kaung Sett Naing played an important role in silver medal winner Myanmar U-23 team in 2015 SEA Games hosted in Singapore. He moved to Samut Sakhon FC on loan in 2016 and showed good performances.
