Nay Pyi Taw, 15 July

The Myanmar National League club Sagaing United and former Myanmar international Kaung Set Naing will be sidelined for one week due to his ankle injury, the Monywa-based club said.

Former Myanmar international striker is highly likely to undergo an operation to fix his ankle injury sustained in a MNL match against Chinland FC FC at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon on 14 July. Kaung Sett Naing played an important role in silver medal winner Myanmar U-23 team in 2015 SEA Games hosted in Singapore. He moved to Samut Sakhon FC on loan in 2016 and showed good performances.—By Kyaw Htike Soe
