With the aim of controlling climate change, preventing deforestation and conserving environment, officials from Department of Forestry are planting different kinds of saplings to be planted in monsoon season.

The State Department of Forestry is plating a total of 385200 saplings to be distributed to departments and social organizations in seven townships in the State. The officials from Department of Forestry in Hpa-an, Thandaunggyi, Hlaingbwe, Hpapun, Kawkareik, Kyainseikgyi and Myawady Townships are arranging to plant saplings in the monsoon season.
