A ceremony to hand over a school building to Education Department was held at Basic Education Middle School in Namhtumkue village, Putao Township, Kachin State this morning.

First, District Administrator U Thant Zin, official from Progress of Border Areas and National Races and Deputy Township Administrator U Sein Lay, Township Education Officer and Managing Director from the construction company formally opened the school facility.

At the ceremony, District Administrator gave remarks and Township Education Officer also presented remarks. Next, the Managing Director handed over proper documents relating to the school building to the Head of the school.

The school was constructed with K 153.6 million allocated by Pyidaungsu’s fund in 2018-2019 FY.
